About the event

Lise (Glass) Marlowe was a transformational 6th grade history teacher at Elkins Park School. Her work engaging students around local Black history, and the Holocaust has earned national honors, and she'll be our guide for the afternoon!

We'll meet (and can park) at Keneseth Israel synagogue, at Old York Road & Township Line Road. After a short presentation at KI, we'll carpool to LaMott for the Civil War and Revolutionary-era walking tour. Topics include Camp William Penn, Lucretia Mott and Richard Wall.

RAINDATE Sunday, April 12, 11am-12:30pm.

LIMIT 25 people.

Free, but RSVP requested.
