In America's 250th year, we'll look back at how the country marked 100 years with the Centennial Exposition of 1876 in Philadelphia. (More below.) Then see how the Centennial spawned the women’s movement and "meet" the pioneers who shaped the future from THIS historic (and gorgeous!) location.

In the very room where they gathered, hear the insprirational stories of guild founder, Eliza Sproat Turner; philanthropist Dr. Alice Norton; NAACP organizer, Florence Kelley; and suffragist Edith Brubaker.
Presentation followed a peek into one or two of the guest rooms. Light refreshments included.
